Obviously the quicker the transfer completes the sooner it can start earning at its destination, but there's no other advantage to having the transfer complete this tax year rather than the next.

I received an email from my destination (Charles Stanley Direct) in late January saying that they were starting the transfer process. The funds are still in Zopa two months later.

I received an email from my destination (Charles Stanley Direct) in late January saying that they were starting the transfer process. The funds are still in Zopa two months later. Successful after 2 months of chasing both Zopa and the receiver about 6 times each!!

I phoned them today. Email update:
"Due to the closure of the peer-to-peer side of our business and our IFISA product, we’ve received a very high number of transfer out requests. We’re working through them as fast as we can and we aim to process your request in the next 30 days."
The confirmation email from Charles Stanley was on the 7th Feb.

I am awaiting a transfer to Vanguard. They say they sent the transfer on 20 January. Zopa say they have not received it. I have asked Vanguard to send it again. Two months and 8 days and no progress made.

My transfer has happened within a day of me complaining via email and on social media. This is two months after I initiated it.
