Can anyone recommend a BBCode editor for creating and editing forum posts. Particularly one that is good at creating and editing tables. A WYSIWYG pane would be nice too. I'm happy to run on either Android or Windows.
I found one last year that was OK, but not great, but can't remember which one it was now.

You probably know this. I just use a similar enough post , use BBcode tab , copy the code , open new post, use the BBcode tab, paste the code , optionally edit the code , then change to Preview.
Very little html in BBcode, ideally you have a template with everything and modify it in the BBcode or Preview tab for new posts. It looks difficult but it's not, indenting the start/end of each portion so they line up in the same column is the key. Of course the forum editor may mess that up everytime you switch tabs.

Yes, thank you, I do generally use those techniques. However, some things are extremely tortuous using the forum's BBCode editor. For example, adding a column to a table is a nightmare. I was thinking that there might be a BBCode editor where you could simply right-click on a table and select "add column", or something similar, with the BBCode in one pane and the results in another pane. I found a few editors, but none that work particularly well with the forum's implementation.

CORRECTION: I've discovered that you can indeed right click on tables to add or delete rows or columns in the forum editor on a PC. Until now, I had been editing on an android tablet without a mouse, so this feature wasn't apparently available to me.

I'm sure that has been added recently and I do use a PC. It was the main reason I started editing the BBCode manually.
