They are still putting up the notice that the web site has reached capacity. This is a downright lie. I’ve tried to log in at various times during the night and just now at 6.30 on Easter Sunday. They just don’t want us to log on anyway. I do not think that we are now going to get the rest of OUR money and that Wellesley has no intention of honouring his debts. I , foolishly, was banking on getting this final tranche last week and now am going to experience some quite difficult hardship. Still it’s my own fault for being taken in by the snake oil advertising of 7 years ago. I’m going to be keeping my eyes and ears open in the future to see if Wellesley tries to start up again and will make every effort to make the new suckers, sorry I mean “investors”, aware of his past history. I listen to LBC and there’s an advert on there where a silken-tounged woman tries to sell a financial product promising 7.5 per cent return with the rider that “your money is not protected” by the financial system. Now although I’ve absolutely no idea how this product will work and how accurate the return will be, (and it I’m not alleging that it is anything but accurate), after my experience with Wellesley I would sooner spend a week in California with Harry and Megan before I put a single Penny into anything like this again. Indeed we have all learned a lesson. Its the same old story, a bit communication from w&co might help.
Anything offering rates out of line with competitors has to be examined very carefully.
We can only hope we eventually get these payments due from Wellesley but at the same time expect the worst.
