Logged into CP to see the details of upcoming loans and found my balance has dropped by a couple of hundred pounds since yesterday. The Withdrawals transaction log shows a duplicate entry for a withdrawal I made of this amount on 17 May 2022 (which was paid out on that day to my bank, with transaction log showing it completed then). Not sure if it's because they were having problems on 17 May. On that day -I had a small cash balance (£X). Withdrew it all, cash showed in my bank, but CP cash balance showed -£X (minus £X) rather than £0. Not the first time I've had that scenario.
-sent message to CP, cash balance got corrected to £0
-later the same day, a project repaid a couple of hundred pounds. I withdrew it all, cash showed in my bank, CP cash balance correctly showed as £0, transaction log showed the withdrawal.
For some reason, CP's system has duplicated the second withdrawal of 17 May, balance/cash totals have reduced but money is NOT in the bank. I phoned CP, they said they're aware of it and it's not just me affected. Thought I'd 'broadcast it' here.

Identical situation here.
I thought it was just me.
Today my account is suddenly showing as many thousands in the negative as they've duplicated one of my withdrawals from last week.
So I have sent CP all the evidence of them duplicating the withdrawal.
Would have been very lucrative for CP across the board had we not spotted it.
It's interesting how all these 'errors' are only ever to the detriment of lenders.

I noticed the same issue - a debit from my AutoInvest cash account this morning which duplicates a debit I made last week. I've been promised it'll be fixed by tonight!
Update at 14:40: The debit has been removed and the balance is back to what I think it should be.

And me - over £4,000 has left my CP account this morning (unauthorised by myself), and not appeared in my bank account. It's the exact amount first withdrawn successfully by myself a week ago.
Awaiting an explanation from CP.

My total and cash balances are now as they should be and the duplicated entry has been deleted from the Withdrawals transaction log. I'm going to message CP asking why they didn't message affected users once they identified the problem and the users affected. Will update with any reply.

I had the same issue the day before. They fixed it for me and said they had found a bug that they had now fixed so it wouldn't happen again!

I messaged CP about my earlier phone conversation with XXX (their rep): "XXX indicated i) the problem was already known to CP and was being worked on, and ii) that it wasn't just me who was affected. Given that, why did CP not communicate this discrepancy to affected lenders like myself BEFORE we spotted the error, got worried and rang it in?"
CP's answer: "Last week our banking provider was experiencing a delay in sending withdrawal webhooks, so whilst your withdrawal successfully went through as expected we did not received the usual automatic notification, and due to this we manually added the withdrawal to your account to ensure you balance updated correctly following the transaction.
We notified our banking provider of this issue and they have since been retrospectively sending the notifications to ensure all transactions are correctly logged for reconciliation purposes. This therefore caused a duplicate to incorrectly be added to your account which has now been corrected.
Please accept our apologies for not getting in touch sooner, we were investigating affected users and working hard to ensure the balance was showing correctly. We apologise that this cause you concern and we appreciate your feedback, in the unlikely event that this should happen again we will ensure we get in touch directly."

Can you imagine if Barclays or HSBC did this to their customers' withdrawals? It'd be a national scandal and all over the news.
But in P2P Land these kind of shenanigans are considered to be part of the joyful ride.

Awaiting an explanation from CP. All sorted: Within a few hours CP have corrected my balance and issued a detailed explanation and apology. Can you imagine if this had been a high street bank's error? First the bank would have denied there was an error, then they'd have blamed the customer. Then they'd have put you on hold while you watched your account being fraudulently emptied.
