I am always willing to learn the error of my ways, so please explain what is wrong with the link. As far as I am aware planning documents are information available to the public (otherwise I would not have been able to find it!) Is it not the intention of SS mentioning the planning document number so that we can look it up? If not, how are we able to use this information? Presumably the planning document either explicitely identified the borrower or implicitely allowed them to be identified. See forum rules on naming/identifying borrowers.

I think that although details of planning permission may be public information, details of how borrowers are obtaining finance are not.

Another factor -- I think -- is that the details needed to find the planning permission are only visible to people registered on the SS website and logged in, so are not available to the great unwashed.

Sorry westcountryfunder, have been away for a couple of days. The two posts above capture the reasons.
