I seem to remember there have been other loans that haven't reached target in the past, Qardus just lowered the minimum so it looked like they had reached the minimum target. This new loan is already well past the minimum target.

Quite a few loans haven't reached 'Target' – but as Ace says there is also a minimum target, which has now been comfortably reached with several days to go before it closes.

I wasn't implying this loan hadn't reached min target, I was replying to an earlier post which questioned why this offer wasn't filling up as quick as previous offers, I was just commenting that not all offers had achieved there goal, for example, B*Trad**** was advertised with £150,000 Target £125,000 min target, yet it finished of showing on the site as £55,200 Target £55,200 min target and £55,200 raised, implying every target had been achieved.

New opportunity - well sort of. Another company back for a second campaign. 56% funded at time of writing.

I've topped up to my max limit per borrower, fingers crossed.

I thought the same, although I am in the original loan I will pass on this one.

Just under £7k of the max £150k raise still available.
8 payments in to a 36 month loan does seem a bit soon to be coming back for more, though all others that have taken second loans have been making the regular repayments for both.
Like others here, I've topped up to my usual limit per borrower. Actually, just over that to keep some recent repayments deployed.

What happens if there is a problem with these loans, is the first loan paid first or what? It would seem the risk for the first lenders has increased.

As they are amortising loans lenders in the first loan will have been repaid more than those in the second when payments dried up. If there were a liquidation and a lump sum repayment of all or part of the outstanding amounts I assume the two loans would be treated pari passu. The accounts for y/e Jan 2023 show a big improvement on 2022 which is encouraging. I am puzzled why in Aug 2022 when the first loan was launched the 2022 accounts were draft whereas in May 2023 the 2023 accounts were final. Probably nothing to worry about.

"Dear Investor, *** provides dentistry services and is based in Lancashire. The practice provides primary dental services to predominantly NHS patients. As a valued investor you get access to invest in this deal. *** is seeking capital of up to £60k that will be used for growth capital." 11.34%. 36 months. Logged in 2 minutes after receiving the e-mail. All gone to club members, I assume.

Logged in 2 minutes after receiving the e-mail. All gone to club members, I assume. Was almost completely gone when I got early(ish) notification at lunch time. I took the last £210 (accidently in my partner's account, but that's another story) . Presumably it was mostly consumed by the new large equity investors, who are notified a couple of days earlier. IM is dated 12/7/23. It was also a small raise following a fairly long period without any. So, many people probably had large balances to redeploy.

I went on instantly when I received the e-mail and managed to invest my existing balance, is this a sign that the small investors like us are slowly being pushed to one side while the larger equity investors take the lions share.

This happened before with one of more small loans, we'll probably be OK with larger loans.

A small amount now available if you log in. I’ve just had a little chunk, but left enough for anyone fast enough to get online.
