Richard "Dickie" Davies Not sure I remember this even being announced for those of us of a certain age "World of sport" on a Saturday afternoon, Dickie Davies with his black hair with the white patch was iconic. Giant Haystacks Vs Big Daddy in the wrestling, a country mile from the so obviously choreographed WWE etc. So world of sport wrestling with Brian Crabtree as referee and his brother Shirley 'big daddy' Crabtree taking part in the bout was all Kosher?

I mean, who could take it seriously? exactly, I'm not exactly huge but if I threw myself from the top rope and landed on your ribs one or both of us would have serious injuries. that's speaking from experience as I have broken a patients rib whilst performing CPR.

Another true visionary bites the dust.
Gordon Moore co-founder of Intel died recently aged 94. Two decades before the computer revolution began, Moore wrote in a paper that integrated circuits would lead "to such wonders as home computers - or at least terminals connected to a central computer - automatic controls for automobiles, and personal portable communications equipment".

Moore's Law. Coined in 1965, still basically true.

Are you suggesting the law won't hold after his death?

Are you suggesting the law won't hold after his death? No... I'm suggesting it's remarkable that it's still true after nearly 60 years.

Still, can never forgive him for corrupting young minds by dressing up in women's clothing. Terrible 'wokeness'.
