We are both up to date with our jabs apart from the latest winter one. We caught it about a month ago so apparently our immune systems are still quite active. Someone forwarded this clip recently, (Andrew Bridgen MP Parliament Debate) and we were quite shocked. I thought it may be useful for others view points. Thanks! youtu.be/-MSKzoI72eU

One thing for sure, all current vaccines cannot stop the spread of covid, and yet crucial data supporting the benefit of having extra booster dose for all ages aren’t available (yet)

Indeed. In fact experience suggests it enhances your likelihood.

Thanks! youtu.be/-MSKzoI72eUI too was pretty shocked. Its pretty shocking that that an elected MP can not only be so gullible, but also be so irresponsible as to use their privileged position in parliament to make such unreasonable and unsubstantiated claims. I am basing that view not on listening to his full statement (I'm not about to waste 20mins of my life) but on what was reported of it at the time, and the rebuttals from reputable bodies. From my recollection, he claimed that the British Heart Foundation "had been involved in a cover up" for example. Which frankly doesn't really pass any sense test. The BMJ, an article from which I believe he referred as showing that "vaccines caused more harm than good" in the younger cohort also slammed him.

P-hacking (also known as data dredging or data snooping)
after reading that article I doubt I will be seeking out the good doctor for any service apart from cleaning my car

The only medical journal that would publish his article about the COVID vaccine's effect on cardiovascular health is one about insulin... and he's an editor on that.
Mmmmhmm.
Herself works on the publishing side of a medical journal. I know enough about them to know that is red-flag-central...

Please name a country require 4th dose or fifth dose as entry requirement. Most countries consider 2 doses as fully vaccinated and do not require proof of vaccination anymore. Should the UK keep spending money for boosting over 50s every year without further scientific evidence?

let's not confuse science about covid vaccination for an old group of citizens and what countries are doing to protect their borders.

It's also a travel insurance requirement for covid cover, to have had the latest government advised vaccine! (Well at least the ones we have had quotes from.)

I think Covid and Flu vaccines for people at risk will remain as a yearly option. Unless a new nasty variant appears Covid vaccines will not be necessary for most younger people.
