You mean buying shares in P2P platforms? No, only on paper, though had I sought to exit via SM where possible then would have yes.

On paper, yes. In pocket, no. Mainly because I've bought many but not sold any yet. ABLrateLooks like being a total loss. Management haven't even bothered to inform shareholders of the platform rundown. AxiaFunderMy biggest success so far and highest hope. I went large when they were first raising at £20 per share and topped up with preemption rights at £25. Their last raise was at £30, and they're planning a new raise at £40. I expect these to eventually go much higher. 🤞 Assetz CapitalBought at various prices from £1.58 to £2.35. Last raise was at £3.15, but generally trading as low as £1.58. I really don't know where this one is going. IMO the management of the retail shutdown was shockingly bad (also coupled with poor covid decisions IMO), which gives me a poor impression of the management, but they might still be able to make a success of the institutionally led lending! BrickOwnerBought at various prices between £1.77 and £7.35. Last raise was £7.35, but trading at much lower. Judging by my loan performance on this platform, I won't be making any serious money here. CapitalRiseBought at £28.60. No movement since. I think there's a good chance of success here. CrowdPropertyBought at £13.68 and £21.78. Now raising at £28.13. I wish I'd bought more earlier. I'm expecting this one to do very well. CrowdstackerBought at £34. No movement since. ElfinMarketBought at £5.08 and £7.99. Trading higher. Fund OurselvesBought at £1.60. No change since. Shares never seem to be tradable. Would sell if I could. I don't believe any of the very few words that I'm told by this platform. LoanpadBought at £12. No raises since, but trading higher. Wish I'd bought more. I expect them to do well. ProplendBought at £7.75. Last raise was at £9.35. Wish I'd bought more. I expect them to do well. QardusBought at £3.11. No raise since. Could do well. ShojinBought at £7.88. Now raising at £9.78. Could do well. Most of my purchases above were made via Seedrs. My portfolio does contain a few non-P2P based shares, but it's dominated by P2P. Seedrs reports that my XIRR is currently 10.08% (valuations against latest raise prices), and reports a tax adjusted XIRR (allowing for EIS and SEIS tax benefits) of 19.67%.

I like your spread, if only you could cash optimism in. Your better prospects much align with my remaining p2p investments except for kuflink, unbolted, landlordinvest and somo. Did they not have equity fund raising ?

None of those have, except LLI which tried and actually failed to raise cash in 2018, so got private investment instead

Strictly speaking not P2P but I bought and sold Wisealpha at the same price, having held long enough to trouser the 30% tax rebate, so that was a decent return.

AC stating their commitment to retail lending, raising funds from retail investors and then immediately unceremoniously dumping retail lending. That's gone down like a lead balloon with their minority investors. I'd expect some to be making formal compliants to the relevant supervisory authorities for misrepresentation.

I had one successful fin-tech exit in late 2020, shares bought in late 2018 and a break even exit with WLU in early 2020 (both via SM.) However, I wish the raising money platform to lower their fees. Other than that, my XIRR on paper is -5.63% assuming another potential investors will take over my papers before fees. EDIT: It's PITA to work out XIRR on raising money platforms, where to download transactions record?!!

Are Seedrs and Seed legals connected, I purchased Axiafunder via Seed Legals. No. The shares bought via Seed Legals will be directly held in your name rather than being held by the Seedrs nominee, so you won't be able to sell those via the Seedrs SM.
