5 year market is now down to 5.6% One hour later it's back up at 5.9%, those prepared to accept below the going rate having parted with their money....

Back up to 5.9 and it's currently 4.9 for the 3 year, so not too much complain about.

And its the monthly market that seems to be in the doldrums this afternoon, was down to 2.1% at one point. Wonder if everyone has read the T&C of the cashback offer properly........?

Someone just stuck £10k in the 3 year market @ 4.5%' when there is just 10k at 4.8 and nothing below that As the old saying goes some folk have more money than sense. edit - and not to be outdone, 5k quickly follows it at 4.4

Looks like the "panic" has set in on the one year!! edit 12:57: and no 1 year lending has been done since 09:32 .... 18:00 rolls closer. Anyone hoping to lend out their £5k tranches in any market on a Saturday will see slow progress; they may not have known that, and there's no reason why RS should remind them. Attachments:

Goodness, £15k @ 2.8%.
That makes me feel reasonably satisfied with 3.8% just over a week ago.

I'm still seeing a "last match 09:32" on the one year, same as my earlier screenshot, but that must be nonsense because some of the 2.9% has shifted ... unless a lender has manually lowered a rate to 2.8% (or withdrawn completely). The total on offer up to 3.8% has only dropped by about £2K.
Juggling day?
Not me, Miss!

I matched in the 1 year at 11:22, (less than 1K to take me to 5K in total).

Ground floor approaching 37 minutes to go. One year at 2.6%. It was flirting wit 4% before the cashback game. 5 year has only dropped to 5.7% so far. On my monitor, 1 month, 3 year and 5 year "last matches" have been changing slowly through the day - latest is 17:06 on one month. One year is still showing last match at 09:32 for me, yet we know there has been at least one movement. Attachments:

One month is the same rate as one year... <shakes head in disbelief>
I'll bet some of these lenders are so conflicted. They're staring at the RS site, willing their money to be lent - when they know they really should be getting started on their tax returns...
