Although most of my remaining loans on AC are no hopers and thankfully I got most of my money out years ago I still like to log in and read about how the recoveries are progressing. Unfortunately, they seem to be well passed the promised next update date. Should I just assume the good old days when they kept to their schedule are over?

They have reduced updates to save costs so no scheduled just when there is something to report. Not they ever kept to schedules a lot of the time anyway.

Thanks for the update, back in the early days when I was heavily invested with them they were pretty good on meeting their update deadlines. I have thought about shutting down my account and seeing if I can just give up my existing loans which have 0% chance of ever being recovered, but I still like to log in and see how much interest I earned from time to time

I took their refusal to the Ombudsman, who eventually simply sided with them. AC is the Hotel California of P2P; once you've even 1 defaulted loan, you can never leave.

Just think on it as something for your great great grand children to remember you by when they receive it in their parents will. They'll ask the question who was great great granddad SteveT and your memory lives on because of AC

Mind you, Like the Gods of Ancients they apply this power in a pretty arbitrary fashion and loans have been known to 'sneak through' and continue to accrue long after they died and went to Receivership Heaven on the 5th floor.

Talking about Accrued Interest, what's happening with that? Till recently it always fluctuated on a daily basis as it should. New interest was accrued daily, and accrued interest was paid out on working days. However: - The accrued interest figure was constant for the four days from 22-May to 25-May. - It changed slightly on 26-May. - It has been constant over the five days from 26-May to 30-May. Is something broken? note: interest is still being paid out.

Is there a way to see how much capital is still invested from Retail investors?

Is there a way to see how much capital is still invested from Retail investors? About £160m on the loans held by the AA (£118m held by AA) There are a few loans AA don't hold, mostly old defaults, and there might be some institutional money within that total as IIRC at least one fund was investing alongside retail on platform.
