Well if its Chloe Kelly yes ... as it briefly skids across the table before the plate neatly decapitates you ... just deserts for such a misogynistic question! Yeah I know it's tongue in cheek ... I know you like to see i's dotted and t's crossed in others' posts so I'll suggest it wouldn't be "misogynistic" even if that was a genuinely held thought. As I understand it the term means a hated of women and to have old fashioned or viewpoints from some other countries such as in eastern europe and elsewhere does not automatically mean one hates women although I'm sure some would try to argue that. The Yorkshire Ripper was misogynistic - lets not devalue yet another word.

I remember the good old days when every top flight football team had a center forward who could put it about a bit.
Bob Latchford was such a player for Birmingham city in the 70's, before he moved onto Everton. He was idolised at Birmingham, but his departure was somewhat acrimonious. I remember watching the first time he returned to city with his new club, where the man on the PA said there would be a meeting of the Bob Latchford fan club in the telephone kiosk outside the ground after the final whistle.

Apparently some black sausage maker, the guy who invented the Black Farmer brand, has complained that the England womens football team are too blonde and blue-eyed. It reminds me of that black actress who complained that the Royal Family were terribly white. Comments like these don't help anybody and just cause a lot of irritation amongst the indigenous population, which is, last time I looked, overwhelmingly white, although not all are blonde and blue-eyed. Just fatuous remarks serving no purpose. I'm sure I'll incur the wrath of the woke-ier contributors, but unless you live in a city, white people form the vast majority of the population and that is a fact.

Dear me................all this talk of Bob Latchford, Andy Gray and Duncan Ferguson brings back memories of when we (Everton) were a half decent team. Throw in Dixie Dean, Tommy Lawton, Joe Royle and Graeme Sharp (in my view the best of the lot) and you've got some of the best Centre Forwards that have ever played the game. It's pitiful to see where the club has descended to, but unfortunately it is the undisputed love of my life.  |

Humans are not an indigenous species on these isles. Homo Sapiens has only been continuously settled here for about 12,000 years - although earlier hominids first reached here around 800,000 years ago. The British Isles weren't islands until about 6500BCE, so they'd have just walked here across what's now the North Sea into modern East Anglia.

Can you imagine going to a premier league manager and saying less than 5% of the population is black, so you can only have one black player in the team and they can only play for half the game.
