Another dummy question: the dashboard is showing £0.00 payout on 15th January 2024.
Does it mean I earn no interest for 2 months despite is already "ON LOAN" yesterday?

Items on the Elf dashboard don't seem to update in sync. My forecast interest for next month has just updated to a sensible figure, despite last month's interest being paid on Wednesday, but not everyone's account updates at the same time. In short, give it a couple more days and I expect you will see your forecast update to a reasonable figure.

Here is the current state of the most recent of those investments, which shows how the returns build up over time: Investment Date | Interest Earned | Platform Reported AER | 06 Nov 2023 | £0.00 | 0.00% | 20 Sep 2023 | £0.95 | 6.13% | 30 Aug 2023 | £1.54 | 7.32% | 22 Jul 2023 | £2.35 | 8.03% | 22 Jun 2023 | £3.51 | 8.88% |
I have another 15 investments, all older than the above. All of these are showing current AERs between 8.80% and 9.54%, with no discernable pattern.

The payment for 15th Dec has been updated. £2.07 for £1000. Expected AER 2.64% for the first month. This is slightly worst than my previous month. Any tips to set the investment period of 3 years properly? It seems this one is stuck on 6 months, showing maturity ending Jun 2024 despite I changed to 3 years yesterday.

You can't change the end date of a current investment. You need to set your preferred investment length (via Account Details -> Investment Preferences) prior to depositing new cash.

Thanks Ace. Elfin is very forgiving for making dummies' mistake. I made a withdrawal and deposit another round. It works so well. Maturity is set to be 15 Dec 2026. Easy.

Theoretically ability to withdraw early isn't guaranteed, but it's never been a problem so far. I was withdrawing from standard and paying into ISA regularly earlier in the year. ISA not flexible unfortunately but not too bothered by that.

Interesting, it does seem to vary month to month, I assumed they had got their act together this time. Paid in, paid out and in my bank account all before breakfast.

All my investments are showing, though I haven't made any new investments since 6/11/23. Just in case, do you have the right IFISA/Standard tab selected. Mine seems to default to All Accounts, so probably not an issue.
