Depends if you need larger volumes or can afford it. It's like bogof deals, encouraging waste.
I get your point though. I recently needed a 17mm allen socket, fiver for one or 12 quid for the set of 5 sizes. I nearly bought the 5 but then realised I've never actually needed this type until now so why spend the extra? You pay your money and takes your choice.

Given it's loo rolls, they won't go off and I'm sharing 48 roles with my partner.
Having always lived in hard water areas until the last 6 years, I still have to remember to only use small amounts of wash powder, shampoo etc, I used to use a full scoop of soap powder now down to about 1/4 that has to be a decent saving over a time.

Washing up liquid.... smaller amounts to still seems to create same amount of bubbles and cleaning power. Less cost to pocket and environment.

Using fairy liquid is cheaper in the long run, better quality means using less for same bubble quantity. And it's good for your hands😁 Cant believe I'm discussing washing up liquid on a forum.!!!

I'm fed up with MIL giving a good squirt on every item probably because she never had it when growing up in the soviet union..... Also cleans every item before putting it into the dishwasher - with a running hot tap of course.

SMALLER AMOUNTS DO NOT CREATE SAME BUBBLES. They do and it's simple where I lived previously was a hard water area, this is a soft water area so i don't need as much washing up liquid
