If interest inside a P2P ISA is (automatically) reinvested inside that ISA, is it treated as extra investment into the ISA (so that if you invested the maximum into the ISA at the beginning of the year, you would have exceeded the allowable ISA yearly maximum by the end of the year)? Or is it treated as never exitting the ISA, so it isn't extra investment? I guess it would be covered by the same rules that apply to compounded interest within a cash ISA (or maybe that's treated differently)?
I tried googling but couldn't find anything obvious.

The latter. ISA subscription limits relate to money being deposited into the ISA, not any income/gains.
