been helping someone reorganise his shop ready for Christmas etc.
It's mostly IT related stuff so I can look at stuff and have an idea of value.
Towards the back of the store room shelves full of stuff that I see as £0 value DDR memory (when DDR3 is current ) TV cards, there was some memory that I'm sure was for 8086 machines, even a couple of CRT monitors.
So I suggested that after Christmas we could do a stock check and scrap and write off much of the old stuff I was told in no uncertain terms that that can't happen, as his bank loan is secured against the book value of the stock and many of the items I want to bin are valued at £10's to £100's each in the books. Basically if he bins the junk the book value of his stock drops dramatically
made me wonder how many P2P loans against stock are based on such rubbish figures

Pretty sure CRT monitors worth some money. Someone bought one recently for £600, 21"inch dell BNIB
Otherwise, people can use Rasberry Pi 0 to run some low end stuff / apps. Supposingly $5 micro computer.
