They stopped caring (if they ever did) about retail investors a long time ago as we no longer fit into their business model. Too much hassle (not) answering questions about the shoddy loan applications being submitted.

At the low rates they are offering loans to a friends business they wouldn't get many takers for loan parts under the old business model anyway - you get a higher rate return in a nice safe standard savings account.
