Just topped up... 0.73p plus vat. Interested to see what others pay as boiler juice varies from region to region.

Those were the days, Ive found the best time to top up is usually June/July/Aug. but with the cold snap we had forecast last week I got some the night before the OPEC+ meeting
In total including Delivery to EN10 (middx/Herts) it was just below £705 all in for 1000litrs

This should take us through to summer time where we can top back up at hopefully lower rates. All depending on world events!! We seem to be using around 1500 to 2000 litres a year. Heating on 2 hrs morning and 2 at night. Backed up by log burner.

In total including Delivery to EN10 (middx/Herts) I'm very surprised you're not on mains gas grid round there.

I paid 97.5p/lt a few weeks ago but my order is for posh Shell which claims to keep my innards clean.
Allegedly.
I only have a small tank and I have to fill up twice a year.

So this heating oil is basically aviation fuel ? I'm assuming it was really cheap during covid-19 with no planes in the sky.

Winter is never a good time to buy but price fluctuates so much just now topping up seems sensible. Not sure if different brands are worth paying more for. A new burner nozzle is only a tenner anyway.im sure the cetane rating is set by some standard anyway.
