I guess it depends on your browser but, on a W11 PC with Google Chrome, I can use the 'Go to ...' option on a highlighted link that's been right-clicked: even though the underlying url has already been altered by the forum software: With this combination of OS & browser, I suspect highlighting the url first is the critical bit.

TBF, most of the Viglink redirects are not malicious, but I don't know when they will become malicious.
Definitely a few times links are redirected to a completely different destination? Any explanation?

Do you have any examples, benaj ? I'm wondering if the URLs as posted are malformed in someway so the forum software is instead transferring in an alternative address. (I did also wonder if there was some kind 'denylisting' going on where the forum software automatically substituted URLs to sites it considered inappropriate. However, a brief test of a couple of usual suspects - adult and torrent sites - showed that they were treated fine, viglink redirected to them with no issue.)

Thanks. Is there anything similar for Chrome on Android? The closest thing I can do on iOS browser is sharing a link after highlighting as text without previewing it.

I don't keep bad memories, so I kept no record of those malicious or potential malicious sites.

Chrome on my Android device gives me the option to 'Copy link text' once I've long-tapped (press and hold on the link for 3-or-so seconds) and I can then open a new tab and paste* the copied text (url) into the tab's search bar. * - there's also a couple of other options as per:
