I thought RM has a brand new service bringing a label to your collection address. Has anyone tried it? It’s free for any class. www.royalmail.com/parcel-sending-optionsNo need to goto sub post office / post office right? The postman is supposed to bring the label it is moves like this that are causing delays to letters, the prioritisation of other services ( despite what management tell the Government ) over the universal delivery requirement. my local delivery office is open 7-9 4 days a week

According to SnailMail moving monitor, the free return parcel is delivered within 48 hour schedule, posties working harding get it done 6am this morning.
It seems I am quite lucky to have items delivered by RM on time in the last 2 weeks, received 5 posts yesterday. A letter dated 7th Dec received yesterday by 1st class.
However, shops are busy preparing orders. Some items I ordered last week haven’t been dispatched yet. 😑

I haven't seen my usual postman pat for at least a week. The one covering his shift is a young guy wearing earphones. He dumped the parcel in the recycle bin which is not my preference for safe place and then the bin man collected the bin. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
When I popped to the delivery office which I usually collect the missed delivery and saw the manager, he said it’s not his guy, the other team takes care of the delivery in my neighbourhood. 😵💫
Let’s see how RM response to this complaint after filling up the form.
edit: If there wasn’t tracking information and my own video footage, it would take days or week to found out what actually happened with my parcel. The temporary postman even took a photo of the parcel in the recycling bin full of materials for recycling. 😱Absolutely filthy and disgusting practice.

Something I sent out to a (as it turned out, incomplete) UK address in March was returned as undeliverable yesterday.
The return sticker is dated 19/3...
Hey-ho. Royal Mail is going to be Czech-owned soon. The 2013 floation price was 330p. The offer price is 370p.

But I thought you're quite happy for companies based or doing business in the UK to be owned abroad? Or is it only the staff you're quite happy to be from Europe but you'd rather the companies themselves were British owned? I just want to understand what it is you would like to see?

Sorry, you've lost me. In case you've forgotten, it's been publicly listed for north of a decade. Can any publicly listed company really have a nationality ascribed to it? The single largest current shareholder, 28%, is a Luxemburgish asset management house, Vesa Equity Investment, which is the vessel for Daniel Křetínský's investments. He's merely buying another 42% of equity from the other global investment houses that form the rest of the top ten largest shareholders, and the remaining 30% from people like me... I hope a change of ownership (if that's what it is, from 28% to 100%) feeds down into management and they become more competent. Beyond that... <shrug>

Perhaps no countries and a united states of the world ? Or what ?

Well, no one knows a change of ownership would "save the world". Just like any election, the governance could be better or worse.

Perhaps no countries and a united states of the world ? Or what ? It will be. It'll be 100% privately owned by a Czech billionaire, via his Luxemburgish investment firm, instead of publicly listed. Simply statement of fact. I'm really not sure what else you want me to say here.
