Before P2P, savers put a guinea in a piggy bank, now they smash the banks to become guinea pigs.

Lovely 12 month loan, only 33% LTV on 500+ acres of woodland, conservatively valued. It can't go walkies, it can't get demolished. Got to invest, it would be rude not to.

Just don't go barbecuing guinea-pigs.

Gone!!!! SS attracting serious funds at the moment, and up to 2006 members. Indeed. Managed to get a few quids' worth & was too busy to get funds transferred for more. GOt back 30 mins later & all was gone after having some 60% available

Sufferin' succotash, missed out on both of today's loans yet again.
Still, managed to get my full £25 on someone's old diamond ring thanks to FundingSecure - happy days indeed.
Be nice if Saving Stream could take a leaf out of FS's book and inform us prior to loans being made available, especially as I had a few bob looking for a nice home courtesy of some AC early repayments.

yes i missed out as well on 23 24, not for the lack of trying, got tex at 1ish,did instant transfer from bank to s\s, just found loans are now all filled ,and my money still not in my s\s account to invest
would like s\s to give more notice or at least limit the amount you can fund eg £200 max for the first 12/24 hours so we all have a chance to invest then have a unlimited amount to put in
thanks

To make the best use of the SS system you go to the Cashier dropdown and choose 'Deposit'. Using Step 1 you then make an instant virtual deposit to your account which credits it immediately and you can immediately invest it, and then you follow-up with your bank transfer as Step 2. Of course you can do it the other way round. I've never tried doing the bank transfer without Step 1, but I'm pretty sure you need to do it for their systems to work properly.
