Generation 2958 ( 4.2 East West )
export 2917 £727
Import 1770 £520 ( including SC)
Gas £740 for 7500 kWh ( including SC )
Saving Sessions £183
Energy Cost £520+£740 1240
Saving sessions plus export £910
overall cost £330
ie free gas and 16pkWh for electric or free electric and 4.4p kWh for gas
ignoring Gas, my electricity usage at 30p (SVT) would be just over £600 or £800 with SC
Solar and battery turn that to £520 but the £727 export and £183 saver sessions makes that a £390 "profit" or return on the system and FREE electricity ie the real return is £1190 or 15.8%
1190 is 800 - 520 (280) + 727 + 183
because of the change in pricing for Flux in October it no longer pays me in the summer to fill battery overnight and export everything. so for 2024 my import and export will both be lower, but I expect a slightly lower return with lower prices
I will also start to get a return on my Ripple investment this year.
system originally cost me £7500 in late 2019 and in November I added an extra battery pack costing £1000
I also in October managed to get my Gas meter replaced as it was a smart meter but in dumb mode. most days I have paid less than the flexible rate I was on before, so far this is running at a saving of over £1 per day

obviously not directly comparable, as non-UK:
Generation 9380 ( 15.17 East West, installed in May) export 7290 €580 (not yet billed, therefore approx. ) Import 1320 €340 (not yet billed, therefore approx., excluding SC) Gas €2190 for 17305 kWh ( including SC, disputed should be about €100 less ) Energy Cost €340+€2190 2530 (+SC electricity approx. €180) Export €580 overall cost €2130

here I am in the Welsh Valleys I'm affected by the mountains to the west just after 3 and the sun is behind the mountain so the production is down to 280 watts however that covers the house baseload.
Generated 3.4kWh today, which is good as I normally get 50-60 for the whole of January That generation with a small 1.3kW of it being exported will reduce my bill today to £1.20 it will also reduce tomorrows bill as I will import less to refill the battery
