A Happy 2024 to all P2PIForum members. I’m pleased to announce and welcome on-board Ace who will be joining the P2PIF’s group of volunteers, maintaining the forum, as a new Moderator with immediate effect. As I’m sure you are all aware Ace is a very active P2P’er who started his involvement later in the day than many of us, however his contribution to the forum has been significant providing an abundance of perceptive, frequent, detailed and helpful information across the range. As well as being knowledgeable, Ace is eminently sensible, and I’m sure his contribution to the team will be much valued.

The P2PIF is now 10 years and counting, whilst many members are or have exited P2P and are not around as much or at all, it’s encouraging that new members are still willing to join the team maintaining it. However, on a personal note I have been with the Forum volunteer team for over 7 years, but I too am as out as I can be from P2P and not around sufficiently to continue making a worthwhile contribution to the team, so I have decided to hang up my stars and will be stepping down from the Administrator role.
I can certainly say that P2P and the P2PIF has been an interesting experience all round. I’m glad I have just about survived it, and whilst it’s definitely a Hotel California, I feel it’s time to move on.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all the volunteer mods and admins who I’ve ‘served’ with over the years for their hard work, comradery and support. I wish the P2PIF and everyone who sails in it good luck for the future.

star dust Thanks for keeping things when a number of us others decided it was time to bale out. Administering the forum is generally an utterly thankless task.
