Saw that over 3 million people still to complete and submit tax returns. According to HMRC 12 million people have to do a tax return so 25% haven't submitted with < a week to go. Must do mine earlier next year as I want to get it in so it doesn't complicate issues with my state pension
And I bet they'll all be moaning when their last minute submission causes the HMRC web site to crash. as at midnight if there are 3 million to process the 6 days at 24 hours at 60 minutes at 60 seconds 518,000 seconds so 6 to deal with per second but I bet most are done this weekend or the 31st so that is the 12 a second but then I'd say little will be done between midnight and 8am so now you are at 18 a second .
