OK, so I was one of the very first to invest with FC, and very good it was too. However, I am ever more perplexed at the wind down period we are struggling with, and I simply don't have the time to correlate the minutiae for what must be a tiny amount of money. Having said that, I logged in today to find £68 sitting there!
-----------
This is the statement above my loans:
"My Loan Parts
You are currently lending to 0 businesses (0 loan parts) totalling £0.00. Your maximum exposure to any one business is 0.0% of your current amount lent."
--------------------
But under the list of loans is this:
"Recent Loan Comments
There are comments for 245 loans you are currently exposed to. 126 are downgraded. "
---------------
There was alot of loan comments made on Nov 28th 2023.
What I would like to know is....is there any way of knowing if this is a done deal now, without having to wade to through every one of the hundreds of loan comments?!
Many thanks!

I would just email FC a version of the above. I can't help but think you will get a far better answer than anyone here would be able give. They are usually pretty helpful with that kind of thing. You may also find you can terminate the account anyway.

It is virtually impossible to tell.
Mine tells me I only have one active loan which is marked as bad debt but has been making principal and interest payments recently but on this months transactions I have also recieved interest (but no principal) on another loan part that looks like it should have finished paying over a year ago from the download of loan parts.
I would withdraw whatever it says you have now and then check back in a few months to see if any more has dribbled in.

Your £68 will almost certainly be as a result of the most recent FC sell-off of bad-debt to a third paty (the loan comments should reflect that, so check back again and it should become clear) and if so it is definitely a done deal and there will be nothing you can do about it, except as bloodycat has already alluded to... Take the money and run!

Thankyou for all of your replies...it appears to be an unfathomable issue! I have withdrawn everything available and would guess, as suggested, that a recent loan sell off sent some funds my way. When I get a chance I will phone FC to try and get clarification, and whether it is possible just to close the account.

I've got the same 0 for everything, but still somehow exposed for 54 loans (24 are downgraded). I've read a couple of comments (can't be bothered to go through all 54). "The loan has been settled by the borrower/guarantor and no further repayments are due. We will now proceed to close the account." "It is unlikely that the will be a return to creditors in respect of this bankruptcy" "All recovery actions in respect of this matter have been completed and our file has now been closed. As such, no further updates will be provided." "This loan has been sold to a third party. You have received the final recovery payment for this loan, minus the Collections Charge which has been applied in accordance with the Investor Terms and Conditions. There will be no further payments or updates related to this loan." I'm not entirely sure, but I think the game is over.

I have just very quickly scan/read all of the loan comments, easier than I thought as most are generic reading all recovery actions are
completed or Sold to a Third Party.. However, there are a few loans in there that still seem unresolved, and are either in litigation (eg loans 3409 and 34673) or at least six loans in my case that seem to be in limbo, with payments still be made up until last summer. My guess is there are a few loans outstanding that are so 'messy' that no third party wanted them! Looks like (for me anyway) there might be a little way to go before all the minor bits and bobs are resolved. I will still get in touch with FC at some point as I really would like to not have to log into FC anymore!
I am guessing that once every final loan is resolved FC would surely let the investor know, if nothing else to get them off their backs!

login go to my portfolio filter for live in status go to summary then back to portfolio filter for late in status basically if 0 live and late you are as good as out. I say do this as it's possible that FC numbers are wrong I have 2 loans remaining that may produce recoveries ( 67053 & 67240 ) the latter defaulted in March 2023, but no accounts since May 2021 started trying to get out in 2019 got caught in the rush, I think I got a couple of rounds of sales in before Covid and the closure of the secondary market, been a long 4 and a bit years with a good few months showing more defaults than income

Gosh, I'd written this off,but checked to find £29.62 ,which was swiftly scooped up. Thanks for the heads up. (The price of two full fried breakfasts and a morning car parking ticket in the county town of Salop.)
