Plenty for everyone. Get em while they're hot I think was might be the correct word. Did I really miss £400k of loan parts on the secondary market in the space of an hour ? Did 'gold Card' members get special notification of the release, or indeed rights to bid prior to release ? :-)

All gone now, from what I remember they all came from 'First Lender' who took £400K worth of the original offering which would tally with pepperpot's estimate. They were going like hot cakes after three failed attempts to take parts from the top of the list, I finally got a handful from the bottom. The new slider bar feature on the buying page should take care of that, it allows you to buy upto the value of the funds available in you holding ac and selects available units to fulfill the request. I used it for the first time on these units and the first 4 remained white before mine were highlighted below them. Saves all the clicking for multiple parts.

Hi Brackers! No advance warning for Goldcarders. Not a murmur until just before I shouted, " GO!" earlier. I'd just clicked the aftermarket on spec, having got a bit of K*** C******* earlier. "...The new slider bar feature..."
I must remember that - wasn't aware - I thought sliders was all about Wonga!

I know there was an issue getting some of the PDFs loaded after the changes to the aftermarket were made. I've asked the ACR is up ASAP.
I take it the new aftermarket features were a success?

Yup! no problems here. The one feature I've not tested is the ability to mark down a loan part for sale, and I don't intend to either Would have been nice to read the credit report before buying into the loan, but hey, I'm game. A fool and his money are easily parted, and you've got a corker here!

I take it the new aftermarket features were a success? I tried to purchase some of the Anglesey Bridging loan parts before they all disappeared, despite no credit report. I saw that the purchase screen had been revised since the last time I tried purchasing any parts, and the change definitely is an improvement. In a case like this, where all the parts for sale are the same size, all you have to do is use the slider to the select the amount you wish to purchase, and the appropriate number of parts are selected for you. That sure beats having to tick the boxes one at a time. There was, however, an odd reaction from the system when I tried to confirm my purchase. I received two conflicting message on the next screen. The first one said the parts had been purchased -- and the second one said that there had been a problem with my purchase. (I can't remember what the second message suggested I needed to do about the problem.) I've looked at my account, and everything there seems to indicate my purchase worked as it should have. My available balance has decreased by the appropriate amount. The parts I tried to purchase appear in the list of my loan units on both my Dashboard display and the Loan Units display. And when I look at my Statement, I see a series of new entries, each showing the purchase of an individual loan part. So I don't think I have a problem but, having received that error message, I am concerned. Did this happen to anyone else? I wonder whether the system could get confused when there are a lot of people all trying to buy parts and more than one of them effectively tick the boxes of the same parts and try to proceed with the purchase. With any luck, Chris will have organised the system to select different parts for every request that uses the slider, so that this shouldn't be an issue until the last minute when people are trying to buy more parts than are left available. Andrew: Have all the parts that were going to be made available already been made available and bought? Or were only a portion released today, with more to be released at some future time?

Hmmm had to switch off the box last evening and missed it all! That will teach me for thinking that they would be released during 'normal' working hours ... Shame, I had cash ready. Off to get my crystal ball down from the attic.

Missed them too. The speed at which they go does make participation in offers very hit and miss, and certainly no time for a considered, researched purchase unless you follow these forums.
If i was a borrower and saw how quickly these loans are going I'd suspect i was overpaying on the interest rate. In this respect Funding Knight is better because it has several days to settle down and find its own natural level.

I'm surprised at the rush to invest in a loan that most lenders have no idea what they are actually investing in beyond brief vague details from AC. No credit report yet many can not wait to invest. What is the difference with this loan that due diligence and research are not required just blind faith . I really hope lenders are not dissatisfied when they finally get an opportunity to see the report with their money already committed. I had substantial funds ready for this one and loan parts were available but after getting my fingers burnt in the past, not with AC, I took the cautious approach to this one.

I had a look last night and there were loads on sale. Just had another look and loads more. I guess its just a matter of luck.
What we need is a system where you get sent a text message when loan parts appear on the aftermarket

thanks for using the quiet voice this time. To Andrew and Pepperpot. I didn't find the slider worked very well. All it seems to do - or did for me - is select the requisite number of parts at the top of the list. Yes that worked, but when I used it another time it result in a selection which couldn't complete because the selected loan parts were no longer for sale. There were more parts listed however.

All reasonable points, and yes it rather goes against the grain. However, I've taken the view that I will in this instance rely on the due dil of AC, the underwriter, the fact that its a 6 month bridging loan (reduced risk from timescale), the supposed LTV etc. Would I have taken more if the full docs were there to review ? quite possibly

I had a couple of issues with the slider yesterday, the first time I tried to use it I had the problem you describe, the second time it showed silly numbers i.e. pounds and pence rather than multiples of £100, hence I ended up manually selecting from the bottom of the list.
