Reading a comment on another forum about an investment that has crashed spectacularly, someone today saying she was 90% down on her initial investment but as it had gone up 5% another 3 weeks would get her level.
do these people not understand maths
I invest £100 the investment drops to £10, if it goes up 5% it goes up 5% of the new figure not 5% of your original investment I think 9 weeks at 5% a day growth would get me level, but I'd bet before that there would be dips as people who bought in on the downslope sold out for a profit
