Exactly. The fix was putting it in the low-NOx emission-test mode all the time. The one that it's being argued it should have already been in all the time... Exactly. And thus the quoted efficiency figures could not be achieved. No. I'm stating that the European NOx limits were achieved by VW, but the US ones were not without a mode that used more fuel but gave lower NOx - and the recall made that the permanent situation. The separate mode was not explicitly barred by the European test cycle. No, I'm stating that SUVs/crossovers are by far and away the most popular vehicles on the market on the whole, negating the "but economy!" argument.

After looking on mse and the list of lawyers , the fees involved ate ridiculous. 50% in some cases.
Ok some may say the claimant is getting 50% for free, bit 50% for a combined claim for thousands... usual law firms greed.
Either way looks like I'm in for nothing as my honda is so clean and efficient 😀
