In the process of getting divorced, They have the right address in one part of the system and have next door in another.
Having such personal information sent next door is getting embarrassing !
I've corrected this twice in online documents
today another document delivered next door
I'm currently 70 minutes on hold because "staff busy"
they keep interrupting the hold music to tell me that I can do it online, lol keep trying that it doesn't have the facility.
they tell you that online applications can take 10 days to reach them ! and post 3 weeks
the whole thing smacks of gross incompetence
the letter also contains grammatical errors and given these are legal documents I don't want it messing up by their mistake.

not grammatical mistakes, it is non gendered language
does " your will then be able to apply for a 'final order' on dd/mm/yyyy" sound like decent English to anyone.
lol to get details change I have to email them giving my "old" address and my new address the system can't cope with correcting mistakes ! - Not written after the Horizon debacle was it....

I have been called for jury service several times and the process was painful.
As you described, the letters were littered with mistakes.
Confident? Nope.

😅 So you have someone filled the form correctly in the first place? or is it the family court changed the correct details to the incorrect one?

I have a document from them addressed to the wrong address, but giving my correct address in the body of the document. I also had to laugh at the security questions I was asked, all of the information requested was printed on the letter I was complaining about.

That’s doesn’t sound good. Imagine there is a letter addressed to Mr Badman living on 45 Crime lane and Mrs Goodman living on 46 crime Lane received the for the summon from court.

It was all very predictable that the Civil Service would decline to this sorry level.
Civil Service pay & conditions have been under constant attack since the mid-1980s when Margaret Thatcher rounded on her Civil Service and disbanded the Pay Research Unit which had always set a fair salary structure. She announced that "bums on seats" was now all that mattered, with her "recruitment and retention" policy squeeze on future salaries.
Prescient observers at the time noted that this policy would no longer attract the best brains to the CS. The PRU had compared salaries and conditions across the board to ensure a fair and sensible remuneration scheme. Disbanding it was a big mistake.
The media and Joe Public lapped it up. You now have the quality of CS you cheered for.
The people drafting these letters and maintaining these records nowadays will largely be on or about minimum wage and could just as easily be flipping burgers or working the supermarket checkout. Why anyone would expect accuracy and well crafted letter writing at that level of reward is a mystery.

but the letters shouldn't be individual the system should have a button "send next stage letter" that autogenerates the appropriate letter that should have been approved by senior staff not individuals creating there own,

May be it’s worth pay a little extrA for someone else doing paper work, then all the paper work will be sent to correspondence's address and your neighbour wouldn’t have learnt anything new from the court papers

May be it’s worth pay a little extra for someone else doing paper work, then all the paper work will be sent to correspondence's address and your neighbour wouldn’t have learnt anything new from the court papers LOL the way she was talking yesterday she was being flirty, and she's never done that before. maybe an older unmarried man with his own house and a decent pension is attractive. the paperwork was still sealed, it was me who mentioned divorce papers.
