I find journalists rude and unprofessional these days. They dont give whoever they are interviewing chance to respond.
It started with keunsberg and has gradually got worse.

What gets me riled is the journalist who tells the interviewee what to say.
If the interviewee has a story, then let them speak.
Grrr.

I spend a lot of time throwing things at the telly.... I find Radio 4 infinitely less dumbed-down than the TV. On the few occasions I watch the TV news, whichever channel, something in me starts to think "Yeh, I can see why people are so ill-informed."Another fine example on Today, about 7.30. Richard Tice being systematically *dismantled* in a similar way to Chris Heaton-Harris last week. There's no rigorous examination like that on TV.

I met a correspondent who works for a media covering global stories. Mostly working overseas, apart from wearing the press sign and some protective gears in some terrible parts of the world, has to be ready anytime after hearing the siren / explosions.
