Just a thought but are all his gifts/donations which are associated with his job taxable and should be declared.I mean a waiter has to declare tips ,why should he be immune !

Will you catch the bus to the Re-education Centre or do I have to send round the Boys (other genders may be substituted) to collect you?

TBH, I don’t have a problem if someone wants to donate a collection for the prime minister and his wife to look amazing when they are wearing them representing the UK. I don’t understand the logic of no more donations on clothes.
Other gifts need explanation, not just declarations. Is it necessary for our PM to attend every Arsenal games or accept hospitality accommodation for private purposes?

He always used to use the stands. However, that is not compatible with security considerations. Being in a corporate box is a damn site easier to manage from a security perspective. The club are 'donating' his place in a box, and meanwhile he is continuing to pay for his normal season ticket. This is what I understand/read. In this case it sounds perfectly sensible and reasonable.

So this will also increases the cost for security for taxpayers? I suppose a team of security will be present at every Arsenal games.

Given the other names who have publicly declared they would not be accepting any more clothes (which oddly makes me think of the sign in the local charity shop when they get swamped with donations) I suspect a waiver would be applied. I assume this kind of thing is pretty rife in the political classes (and other celebrities) so really nothing new, just a poor look for a party supposedly cleaning up politics. A very reliable source told me 'Charles' never pays for anything he orders from F&M. The phrase used was 'Those who can easily afford to pay, don't'. Handy to have focused on clothes and ignored the multitude of other stuff...........

Unless he took the more obvious route of not attending football matches thus removing the security risk to himself and those charged with his care. Saving enough money to maybe give a few thousand pensioners their winter fuel allowance.

Well, he could have watched in on a screen live anywhere. Is it really necessary? I think this is a public interest about his choice of being a fan of a football team.

Indeed, as all ex-PMs have a security detail for life, perhaps they should give up all sporting events forever once they become PM.

Because they may find other sporting activities to get exercise like John Major did which could cause, err, issues.

Not that it's any concern of ours, but the cost of protecting Trump when he plays a game of golf must be large, and every time he goes anywhere there seems to be a monster cavalcade.

Don't know how true it was but I attended an Arsenal match a few years back in a "box". They hold about 20 people and I was told at the time they cost in excess of £1M per season. That didn't even include refreshments.
