I have just received an email which asks for the Amount of investment I have in collateral, This will help to calculate compensation! Distribution.However as the Collateral site has been unavailable for several years it will be an appropriate figure.Has anyone else received this email.Thanks

Take a look at the where are we now thread as discussion in there and dates of when bdo sent out a listing of our holdings and when they paid an initial amount.

Hi there, I received the email as well. They are asking to provide informations (like bank account and collateral's exposure) they already have!
Anyway, I found on my old emails an excel file with the list of all my investments (sent from BDO :-). Please find below few info to drive you trough the research:
Email object: Collateral (UK) Limited, Collateral Sales Limited and Collateral Security Trustee Limited
Sender: INVESTORCOLLATERAL@bdo.co.uk
Date: 30 June 2022

The email is from the FCA. BDO have all the details, the FCA don't & BDO probably can't provide it for data protection, financial confidentiality reasons. Compensation will probably come via the FCA, as the prosecuting entity, not the administrators.

Why would BDO Not have an exemption as far as Data Protection is concerned for supplying relevant data to FCA ? All their disclaimers say they can provide any data to Regulators / Govt as is required by Law.

Probably not on a personal, itemised basis relating to investors rather than company matters. The info isn't required by law, it's to facilitate compensation.
