Aaargh, had to leave it alone and get a life.... Still this August has been the most productive period with Falling Clutter for about 6 months, so I can't complain. Theoretical net yields now knocking on 9.5% (and I don't flip)

August usually is good, and this one was no exception.
Website back, but glacial as someone said. Went down just after midnight with '503 service temporarily unavailable', came back just before 8. However unlike the previous night's scheduled maintenance (one hour, actually overran only 20 mins or so) this one was =unannounced= and the longest outage in living memory, and it really isn't back properly yet. Hesitate to do anything serious until it picks up a bit - may be good news for auctions closing early today (well for the lenders anyway).
Still nobody swinging from the flagpoles at Failed Computing's HQ though?

On the plus side my repayment schedule download is working again! Mine isn't - 504 Gateway Time-out after about 5 minutes. But it usually gives up earlier, so this is progress. I've actually never been able to download the repayment schedule.

I've actually never been able to download the repayment schedule. Mine is also giving 504 at the moment, although it was working about an hour ago - hopefully the 504 is just temporary as the whole site seems to be slow. Prior to today I was getting a 500 Internal Server Error every time, within a couple of seconds of clicking the link, so as you say I think this represents progress!

I see short term loan London 4 turned into a loan ... half way!! .. It has vanished from 'my bids', and the loan status is accepted, but I don't yet own / can't yet list any actual loan parts. Another case of what should be an atomic / indivisible transaction getting split up the middle.

And the cashback for London 4 has been added to my Earnings Summary but not to the Available Funds - all a bit of a mess at the moment! And I don't seem to have received the cashback for Richmond 6 which was accepted a couple of days or so ago - has anyone else noticed the same?

Hmmm, seem to remember this happening before, 2 or 3 months back, and only (!) taking about a week to fix. Let's hope someone at Frequent Corrections had the good sense to keep a Post-It note somewhere as to how they finally managed it.

Message on Help: "Investors may experience some issues with the website this morning, and this is due to our server provider which is experiencing some issues. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and will update investors as soon as we have any further information." It's so reassuring to know it's not FC's fault!

Well FC actually got the bids turned into loan parts within a few hours this time, so I guess they found the 'how did we do it last time' recipe. Now we just need them to find the 'how do we stop it happening again' recipe. 8>.

It still really ***** ** *** that FC don't take responsibility for stuff like this. If Sainsburys rand out of milk would you accept a reply that said "sorry, it's the cows' fault"?

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn, so slow again this morning. I guess the August hustle is over so we need to prepare for the dullness of institutional investments to come.
Come-on,,,

Oh, "Gateway Timeout" again. Not good. But the Frisky Chicken is on the ball already this morning : "...Please be assured that this is being investigated by the Tech team..."
