But maybe it wasn't really a clone... the same borrower had a loan request (20426E £50k) de-listed last week, with the comment that it would be re-listed in "two parts as the loan purpose is two-fold", so maybe Flapping Cetaceans got confused about the second part. Not seen that reasoning on re-listing a loan before.

Right, so they've now had 3 cracks at it, all pulled before completion ... must be some sort of record!

Anyone having trouble selling loan parts today? Can't seem to list anything for sale. It lives! Welcome back arbster . Hehe - thanks I think the problem was trying to sell parts with only one repayment left - not a terribly helpful error message ("There was a problem, blah blah...") but managed to list 50 or so other parts with longer to run, many of which have already sold. As a side note, having run the latest loan book through my analysis, the performance of Rejected Whole Loans remains poor, with an average default/very late rate of 3.4%, compared with 1.98% for PLs and 1.27% for WLs, and roughly double the overall average of 1.77%. So, institutions continue to get lucky when choosing which loans to invest in...

Funding Circle (I can't be bothered to make a funny/silly/appropriate transformation) is a platform employing very poorly performing office/back up staff, and it has been like this for years, following many many mistakes which should be dealt with before they appear on the site. I made the same error of trying to sell loan parts last October with (inadvertantly) including one with only a single repayment remaining. All that shows is "there was a problem blah blah blah" without saying what, and fifty sale operations had to done all over again. I complained to FC and told them the remedy, to which one of their very friendly PR ladies said (three days later, long after someone on our forum gave the clue): (Joanna Baldwin, Oct 13, 16:39)Hi Grumplet,
Thank you for your email.
I am glad someone else was able to help you.
I will feedback your suggestion, loan parts that only have one loan repayment left should not be listed, therefore I have passed this onto the tech team to look at why this has happened.
I hope this helps. If you have any further queries please get in touch.
Thanks,
Joanna
Of course, as expected, Futile Cretinette's "tech team" has (apparently) done absolutely nothing about it. I am not surprised, and am continuing my gradual withdrawal of everything on the platform. They make too many errors which are visible, so how many are hidden? As a reply to a complaint in 2013, I received a reply admitting that too many mistakes were appearing on loans appearing on the platform, and promising to tighten up. They haven't. It probably isn't the underwritng/loan procurement team . More likely low quality office staff, and poor Becky (and Joanna ) are left to give investors the excuses.

Weird FC website behaviour, can't understand it. Viewing via my PC using Internet Explorer 11 (as usual), it's taking about a minute to produce each and every page, and when it finally does, there's something odd about the fonts. Menu tabs don't fit properly etc. All other web sites seem fine, and I've tried clearing cache, cookies etc all to no avail. Even weirder is that I can apparently browse the site without any such issues using my smartphone.
Anyone else using IE11 and having issues ? Ideas, anyone?

Very slow on Firefox/Mac too. Presumably they've been "upgrading" something, again.

I imagine that it may have been referencing some external resource which simply wasn't available (fonts?) and it was eventually timing out and reverted to some defaults.

Ditto with Chrome, slow page views, sometimes hanging for 10-15 seconds and larger text size than normal

Well I suppose it couldn't last. The changes Fumbling Computing made to the Loan Parts page a few weeks ago resulted in some half decent behaviour, mostly taking notice of the selections/filters applied. Now it works once or twice, and then whatever selection I make or filter I apply or page I attempt to choose, it just displays the first page of E's.
A couple of days ago, E's were displayed irrespective of whatever other band I selected - unless I actually selected E's, then they disappeared.
Wonderful!
