So, you have a handy little payday lending or logbook loan business with a posh name.
You hire a new IT graduate as an unpaid intern to develop a website
You buy a domain name and convince the regulator you have enough capital to buy a packet of fags
You copy a few quotes relating to existing P2P companies
You do a quick google to find a business idea you can copy
You copy a blurb from other websites about how savers have suffered for too long and now they can earn x% risk free (sort of) backed by real assets
And you join the dozens of other websites crawling out of the woodwork to damage the p2p industry
People
Just because they have a website, a provisional registration with a meaningless regulator and a means to take your cash you should still keep your brain in gear instead of salivating over fantasy interest rates!

Excellent post davee39_ and very astute. On a related, but slightly different note, the forum admins have deleted a few posts and banned a couple (?) of users recently who were using the forum to promote their own websites which were simply a front for making money through affiliate links. We are considering rewording / extending one of the existing forum rules:

Sounds like a sensible extension of the rule to me
