I am currently letting my Zopa investment dwindle and have been using Funding Circle more as the rates of return are so much better and exiting is much cheaper. But I would like to diversify to the extent of having perhaps two platforms current. How can I find out what is available and a few facts about each (e.g. how long in existence, bad debt rate, east and cost of cashing in early, loan throughput...) I am aware of www.p2pmoney.co.uk/companies.htm but perhaps there are other resources.

I think it is not a choice of which one, but if possible, which ones. I suggest reading these forum boards, there is such a lot of good information, and you will soon see pros and cons for the more established P2P players. DIVERSIFYING across several different platforms and loans is sound advice in my opinion. Also, be patient building up your portfolios, don't rush it, but first I'd recommend plenty of reading homework! Note:- these are only my views and opinions, you will have to judge for yourself!

I agree with all Grezza's points. Initially there is much to be said for using platforms with a functioning SM if you want to get invested quickly. Then you can invest a bit quicker, diversifying onto other platforms from existing loans as well as new money.
All platforms have their fans and their detractors. You will have to do your own DD. Much depends on your risk/reward attitude.

In no way advertising the site but I thought some of their information would be a good start for p2p newcomers.

You could take a look at <snip> for an overview of some of the other major P2P platforms [Admin Note] Most of the links on the website you refer to are referral links designed to earn the owner of that website revenue. To retain that revenue within the p2p platform to facilitate the future development, consider using the links to the p2p platforms provided on this forum instead of on third party website. GeorgeOsborne as this is your first post, please be aware that the use of this forum for your own commercial gain is against the forum rules. If you feel I have been excessively heavy handed here or you are not the owner of that website, feel free to PM Admin.
