I have a company account which I let roll over on the monthly access. It pays far better than Lloyds 0.01% on deposit! However I've had to send this message to Rate Setter this morning.
Is it me that's misunderstood or has something gone wrong?
Last month I had £20,000 @2.8% on monthly access. The interest was £48.57. The new amount of £20,048.57 been re-invested for another month @3.2% paying interest of.... £48.60.
I would expect the interest to have gone up by more than 3p given the interest rate has increased by almost 1/2%.
