People rattled by PBL020 ? Because it's supposed to repay within a week? No,it's being converted to a DFL shortly

Existing lenders going to be rolled over ? I may be mis-remembering, but I thought not .. was going to be repaid and started afresh. Of course that may have changed by now. 8>.

I thought it was being rolled over. I expect we'll know for sure when it happens (although it does somewhat alter pre-funding for the new loan. 8>.)

Being a newbe was not sure of the established way! ;-) There really isn't a standard (as you can tell from the number of threads which come up if you search for pbl025), so don't fret. It's not like 'the thread list fits on one page, so we should try to contain it to that' .. that (this) thread was so antique I had trouble finding it to merge the posts with (the option to 'move posts' offers me something like the last 15 or so threads to move them to .. this was umpteen pages back from there!). If you're new though I do recommend the 'search' facility .. as well, of course, as the excellent stuff ' pinned' at the top of the forum(s).

So at the time of the conversion, there probably wouldn't be much to fund at all. IIRC, the last DFL that was in this position had less than £1M required upon conversion, so that was funded bottom-up. If that's going to be the way this one is handled, anyone wanting a four-figure stake in the DFL would be best off buying PBL025 parts now and then letting them roll forward when the conversion occurs. I was under the impression that investments would be rolled forward, but I haven't heard anything recently. And, of course, SS could change their mind before it actually happens. But it sure would be helpful if SS let us know how it's going to work before it happens, so that we can set our pre-funding appropriately.
