AIUI pre bids are allowed for all loans over £250k. I think it's more a case of pre-bids are not allowed on loans of £250k or less. Above that level, AC will use their discretion whether to allow pre-bids or not, and have said pre-bids wouldn't exceed 75% of the total, and there's be at least £250k available when bidding officially opens. (See the About Us page related to the Lender Panel.) In the case of the £311k Stourbridge Development, they didn't allow any pre-bids -- presumably because they knew there was going to be excessive interest.

You will need to email them. I've had occasional mails from Assetz asking me to email them to register (advance bid) on some loans. Not all though. Nothing for High Wycombe so how has old pepperpot managed an early bid? I too get occasional invites, but not for High Wycombe. I thought I'd been put on the naughty chair for giving umbrage, but perhaps not. Dominic keeps reassuring me that I'm definitely on the data base. I'm free all morning as the kids are with their in-laws, so I will be "braiding my beard and eating tiramasu with a long spoon" (Manny from Black Books)
