I'm confident of 3-4 deals per week to come through fairly consistently in the next few weeks and months. We are working hard to get loans moving and the team are focused.
I believe institutional money will also start to hit in April but I don't think it will impact on loans being available for the crowd nor will the credit quality decrease for the crowd. I refuse to let the standards drop.

A Nobody wants you to let the standards drop, but at the beginning of February andrewholgate you were quite bullish about the possible deal flow in February - £10M? and March - £15M? In the light of what has actually appeared - around £5M for the two months combined - a brief explanation from somebody at AC would be welcome (after the holiday, and after any pressing issues have been dealt with of course). I know it can be easy to exceed customer expectations when a business is young, and much harder to do so when it is more established, but this is quite a shortfall, and I wonder what the basis was for the original guesstimates?

Yes, what get's me about AC at the moment is the use of "I'm confident of" and "We expect" when whatever is talked about never materialises. AC's customers have to plan and if we can't trust the information we get then some people will walk which seems a shame when with a little bit more effort we could have more reliable information and updates when expeditions change.

Dear andrewholgate, davidricketts1, davidricketts, Colin, Dominic, I could go on, this forum has 13 registered representatives of Assetz Capital: I'm sure you are all beavering away trying to bring the predictions of increased turnover to fruition against the backdrop of competition, the share sale, talking to new sources of capital and a myriad of other pressing issues. It is not surprising to me therefore that you have neglected this thread. I thought I would remind you of it though, as other readers may mistake AC's silence for aloofness and a lack of interest in the impact that missed forecasts can have on prospective and existing lenders...

bump 3-4 per week, oh dear. If the capital raise is based on outstanding loan book, my investment has lost ground over the last couple of weeks. More loans have been paid off than gone live.

Maybe a cynical view but as the 'promised' deal flow appears to have failed to materialise then a reasonable conclusion IMO.

Deal flow has been forecast ever since October; deal slow has been reality despite the platform saying all the right things.

andrewholgate Will AC be following in Fiddling Chitarrones' footsteps and starting to deal in whole loan lending for HNW lenders?
