Well yes, exactly, but at least your sick squid has been accepted as the current highest bidder and you do have a fully integrated, ambidextrous handle even if it is polystyrene! Did he say that it's only suitable for cold coffee and melts if it has hot coffee poured into it? I don't think Investor mentioned any temperature specifications in his mug description.

No no, Adrianc you are only allowed to put in higher bids!!! I'm sure I can find a part that's worth a couple of quid. Start selling some more parts worth buying, and I'll buy 'em.

I'm a bit suspicious about your description of the handle and, for that reason, and without intending to cause any offense, could you please confirm whether the said mug is ceramic or plastic or made of some other material? The photo from this distance is not very clear on the matter. I am not in the least bit offended, not sure whether the same is true of the RS staff who you seem to believe may only be allowed to drink out of 'plastic or some other material' mugs. I can confirm it is made of ceramic, it does indeed have a handle which is also ceramic and as discussed earlier it is available to be used by both people of a normal and a sinister persuasion. I have attached photos showing the article before and after conversion, however the full details of the conversion process will only be release, via PM, to the winning bidder. Get your bids in!

Cunning photoshopping, to move the handle to the other side without reversing the lettering! 8>.

The mug now looks even better in this new set of photos, sitting there in it's pretty shade of mauve,
Unfortunately I cannot afford to bid now all my money is in RS.

Surely you have a repayment coming in soon, or is it all in 1 year market??
P.S. when does this auction end?

Since we haven't had a bid for a while I'll move it on to a sick squid and half a squid (which, thinking about it, would also be pretty sick or a least rather annoyed).

Hmm ... I'll bid 'half a stone', which should keep anyone under 40 or so guessing ... (my penance for not reading the T&Cs .. besides which I =like= purple, just not the way it is abused on their website)

In the interests of saving you all from going to the unnecessary extra hassle of placing bids only to have them outbid, I thought I'd point out that I have my sniper-bot warmed up and ready to go.

Yeah .. no fair bidding 2 seconds before the close and locking the whole website. Can we have dynamic bidding please? I shall have to consider whether funds will stretch .. hmm .. charity .. Ok then, half-a-lb it is (not to be confused with £/2). Is there anyone else IN this auction?

Are you going to clean it before despatch - i hate picking up a mug with coffee stains in it, esp. as a tea drinker. Since the deadline is still a couple of days away, I'm clearly running a poor strategy as I might get 'sniped'. However, on the basis that this is a charity donation and that you have very kindly offerred to pay for p&p, I'll make a £10 bid. I would chuck in ownership of a £20 loan part for the crappy scrappy, but thankfully I have none to give away.
P.S. I thought the official position was that it i 'lilac' not purple.
P.P.S. Of course westonkev could put in his own bid in order to reclaim it.
