I just got an interesting msg to the effect that cloudflare was blocking what I was trying to send to the forum .. I suspect my problem was that I enclosed a generic identifier type noun in less than and greater than signs (< and I better not type the other one!) and it though this might be an HTML fragment of some kind? Anyone else seen this / can confirm / whatever?

Thanks Pepperpot, I didn't want to try it again. I think my post contained something something like <silly low rate>, but I didn't want to repeat it, just in case someone was keeping count. I'll put it down to disturbance in the ether then..

Sometimes Cloudflare and ProBoards is a match made in hell. For some reason there seem to be a few days a year when nothing makes sense when IP's and sometimes even whole countries are blocked. It's all the fun of the internet.
