So the big attraction of taking while loans would be...? Smaller than whale loans? And less dubious than whore loans

Now there's a business that's probably recession-proof. 8>.

After all that, creditors appear to have lost faith (and money) in 7170

9128:
13 Oct 2015 We have downgraded this loan as we have received formal notice that the borrower is proposing a company voluntary arrangement. We are in the process of contacting the guarantor to determine their position.
Lenbo clearly saw me coming on the secondary market with this one. Fortunately I'm in for less than £20. I'll treat it as a lesson regarding 9 month old grade C loans ;p
How quickly can I expect my penny in the pound to come back, is that "loan guarantee" actually worth anything (I'm guessing not !)

Hmm - I had no idea actually...
Is there a quick and easy way I can check the rest of my portfolio over for rejected whole loans, and sorry but what does that actually mean.
Ta,
James

Is there a quick and easy way I can check the rest of my portfolio over for rejected whole loans The quickest way is to download the Loan Book (from the bottom of the Statistics page). First off, sort it by the repaid status column, and delete all the rows relating to loans that're already repaid or defaulted. Then, sort it by the PL/WL column, then by the number of loan parts. Delete all the rows relating to WL loans with only one part, or PL loans. You're now left with all the loans that have been offered to institutions as whole loans, and they've rejected. They're the ones that are starting to show as statistically more likely to go south. It's not a great surprise - after all, the institutional lenders do their DD for a reason, and they're not that bad at it. If they've turned their noses up, there's probably a good reason. Then compare that list of loan numbers with the loans you own parts in. Where you find a match... do what you will with 'em. If you think the rate on any part is worth the (heightened) risk, keep it. If you don't, pass it on to an autobiddy or SM-bid-bot.

TBH, I'm starting to wish they would just hurry up and bop 7170 on the head - otherwise it'll be at the first anniversary of being late before too long... Is there a single non-defaulted loan with a longer list of comments? Currently 82 days late, and that's only because May's payment was finally completed a couple of weeks ago. And, on the 11 month anniversary of that first comment, they've finally downgraded it. 129 days late. Have our Faithful Cronies actually grown a pair and done something proactive...? No. The borrower's called a meeting to enter insolvent liquidation. Big fat hairy RED.

What do they have to do to get called a default...?

Heh, my start to p2p with fried chicken has not gone as planned: Earnings -£4.48 Fees ? £0.46 [extend] Losses -£17.84 Net earnings ? -£22.78 Doubt I'm going to stay here for any more time/money than I have to get the £50 bonus tbh.
