Well I began holding my breath  back in late Jan (or was it early Feb) thinking that AC would get a bit distracted. Now in April I just have to.. Breath in.......  ... 'cause nothing much has happened. |

I am interested in this too. The Invoice Financing market seems large and returns can be reasonable. I was hoping that AC may offer an entry into the game that I would find attractive.

My understanding is AC will offer invoice discounting via a fund similiar to GEIA. For the fund approach to work there needs to be sufficeint volume of invoice transactions month in month out to provide the necessary liquidity. IIRC it was mentioned by AC at the beginning of this year that they hope to reach this position around the middle of this year, with HNW individuals providing the funds in the meantime. It would be good if andrewholgate could provide a brief update as to progress in ramping up the invoice discounting deals over Q1.

We have been working on training our sales guys in the product and integrating the IFG and AC systems to cope with the the data exchanges. Alongside that we have been formalising the legal structures needed to undertake the product (not just as simple as start selling it!) which are now complete. I want to be able to get a good deal flow going through Q2 with a view to launching the product to the crowd in H2.

Q2 = Quarter 2 (April - June) H2 = Half 2 (July - December)

On the thread about the tidying of the UI there was mention of another account coming... I wonder if it will be this one....?
Of course it could be GEIA series two @ 6% instead.
