Many companies post their annual reports and accounts online for free. For example: www.lloydsbankinggroup.com/globalassets/documents/investors/2014/2014_lbg_annual_report.pdfEvery limited company must file accounts with Companies House annually. They are the statutory body. It costs £1 to access any report. Annual financial reports normally show two years' accounts (last and last-1 for comparison). Use the "web check" service to do so. wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/nsframe?name=xsellAnybody charging more than £1 is basically an intermediary adding on a "processing fee".

www.companycheck.co.uk offer free downloads of accounts. You need to register and login first though, then after searching for and selecting the compnay of interest, select the "Accounts" tab, and click the download link(s) - the accounts pdf(s) are then emailed to you.

I'm sure I can email anyone a copy of the Retail Money Market Limited report (RateSetter is the trading name) if they email a request direct to me at work. I say "sure" as I'm presuming there is no regulatory or compliance reason I couldn't do this on request, as it is publicly avaliable anyways.
