Firefox always used to log onto this here site automatically, but now it doesn't. I think the login page has changed a few weeks ago as well so perhaps the two are related? Anybody else?

Using Firefox and it logs in automatically. May be something to do with your saved passwords within FF or could be a cookie problem.

If you have Firefox Options set to remove cookies on closure, do you have the forum in your list of exceptions with Allow status?

Thanks for the help FF36.04 (win 7) I can't find the remove cookies on closure, but closing (this) p2pindependentforum tab and then looking shows a load of p2pindependentforum cookies (also trying to solve this a few days ago i actually deleted all p2pindependentforum cookies and there's lot now) Allow status - can't find it Steve

You need to go to Tools>Options>Privacy then 'Accept Cookies from Sites' should be ticked. Then if 'Keep until I close Firefox' is the choice click on the button saying 'Exceptions' which brings up the allow list where you need to add the site and possibly Proboards. If you have 'Keep until they Expire' selected all cookies will be kept any way so no exception would be needed.

Thanks James from Carcassonne, your firefox isn't the same as mine, but I definitely keep p2p-i-f cookies between sessions so that's not it.

That is odd because we both have the same updated version of Firefox. I use Lastpass password manager which logs me into sites automatically anyway, so cannot say if I would have your problem.

Tools - Options - Security - ensure the 'Remember Passwords For Sites' is ticked.
Works for me - hope that helps
Using FF 37.0.1
