As there are recent transactions on PBL07, it would be interesting to know how many people bought some of it knowing it had defaulted, and how many bought not realising the loan was in default

No ones touching it now, and those trying to sell aren't earning interest.

No ones touching it now, and those trying to sell aren't earning interest. It's certainly not selling quickly, but there has been the occasional secondary market transaction. Over £3k traded yesterday. It's impossible to know, of course, whether or not someone might have decided to repurchase their own parts that they had been trying to sell -- just to restart the interest accruing. I have a small holding of PBL007, but I've had that since August, when the loan originated.

I listed mine for sale a couple of weeks back after it said it defaulted and it was snapped up quite quickly, I was surprised. I figured it was SS buying it since they are in negotiations to sell

Didn't bother attempting to selling mine as I figured there would be no takers and interest would be lost - which as above wasn't always the case !

Bought into it before it defaulted. Not sure why but felt uncomfortable with it and sold the lot. Few days later it defaulted. (must have been the tea leaves)

After many weeks pondering weather to invest money in these p2p platforms I decided to dip my toe in gently.. this was the first loan I invested my money in.. bad timing or bad luck!!
But I've stuck with it, it will be a good test on how SS exit this with reputation intact.
At this time I have faith they will get our money back.

The reason there are no votes as I write at 21.20 on 10/4 may be because the people who bought on the SM after the default do not read this forum.

I imagine most people (invested or not) are watching to see how they handle this one as it will set a standard on how they handle such situations in the future, and also a trust factor on future investments with them.
