I've been contemplating hard whether to write this post, because I don't want you to think I'm just doing a bit of cheap advertising. But I've decided to bite the bullet because I think that some of you might genuinely be interested in this and that it'll be useful to you as well as me. So, I want to offer you a free copy of my book on P2P lending strategies, which drills down to individual platform level. In return, all you need to do is make some suggestions on how I could improve it. I'm using the "lean publishing" method, which means I publish chapter by chapter and get input from readers on what they'd like me to add and change. So you could help ensure I cover everything that interests you. The civic minded ones of you, of which I know there are at least a few, might want to make sure I haven't made any errors or omissions that will get newcomers into trouble. P2P Independent Forum users can get a coupon for free access to the current version of the book by going to www.4thway.co.uk/?p=4696Thanks, and I'm sorry in advance if I've misjudged this and you consider this advertising. But I could really use your input! Neil

Hi Neil. The moderators made their views known on the use of the forum by 4thway and I for one accept their decision. So I think you may be worrying too much about the advertising question. I went through the links but found, I think, that I had to give an email address. So was not able to read your chapter.

Yup, happy per the rules as long as it's on topic and no money changes hands. Neil, if there are any referral links on your site you need to either flag each link you post on the forum to show that (either on the forum or on your site), or include a disclaimer in your forum signature that says that some links on your site are referral links (e.g. per easteregg's signature).

Ah! Yes there are some referral links on the site, although not on the page in that link. Sorry, I joined the forum and read the forum rules before 4thWay® had any referral links and so I forgot about that.

Hi and thanks, Blender I just went through the link to the leanpub website and it looks like you're right; they require an email address. The email address is apparently only to receive updates from me on further completed chapters, but I'll see if there's any way around it if you don't want that. I could always send it to you another way or publish it somewhere else. i don't want you to miss out Neil

I put in a valid email address, and it has sent one confirmation email with download links, and the subject was preceded by [Leanpub] allowing their emails to be easily filtered, so I think they are a responsible outfit.

I have downloaded a copy and read the little there is so far. Where would you like feedback, on here , or in private? I'm quite comfortable with public feedback, even for severe criticism, unless you feel it's something that really should be said privately. If you'd prefer to leave your feedback here then please do so. Any feedback from you, from any route, is going to be very useful. However, if it's no trouble, would you all mind if I get the feedback direct on the lean publishing feedback page for the book: leanpub.com/4thways-p2p-lending-strategies/feedbackBecause I'd like 4thWay's email subscribers to be able to contribute too, so we can create a larger discussion. To leave feedback there, you don't have to sign up or give your real email address if you do this: 1. Type your feedback. 2. Click in the Name field and enter your P2P Indie user name (or an anonymous one) 3. Enter a fake email address (I used something like erwerewfregre@erewrewfr.com) 4. Ignore the password field. 5. Check the box "I'd rather post as a guest". 6. Click the right arrow to post the feedback. Thanks everyone! Neil

Sorry everyone I've been wasting your time.
It looks like I misunderstood the instructions from leanpub. It says the coupon is "unlimited" so I thought everyone could use it. Now I realise it is unlimited use for just one person.
If you would like the book for free then send me a message, and I'll give you a unique coupon.
Neil
