I've seached and not found a thread on this topic so apologise if I've missed it and this has been covered but does anyone have any idea when ISA's will be launched for P2P?
I have a fair amount of ISA's coming out of fixed terms but at present rates of 2% for a 5 year fixed there is no way I'm re-investing it in high street ISA's but it also guts me to take the cash out of an ISA shell.
The term "LISA" for P2P seems to be catching on... estimated timelines / year?

I have a fair amount of ISA's coming out of fixed terms but at present rates of 2% for a 5 year fixed there is no way I'm re-investing it in high street ISA's but it also guts me to take the cash out of an ISA shell. The term "LISA" for P2P seems to be catching on... estimated timelines / year? Why not consider something like asset-backed (secured on physical property) P2P Venture Capital Trusts? Offers are still open at the moment for the Albion-operated VCTs, one with tax free dividends of around 10% fully asset-backed and another with less asset backing paying a bit over 11%. Rates are after allowing for the initial 30% tax refund on the purchase price. The 30% has to be repaid if the shares are sold within five years by the buyer. The 30% is capped at no more than the actual income tax payable in the year of purchase. HMRC can be asked to change tax code to give the relief during the tax year for those who are in PAYE. If that's not tempting enough to take money out of the ISA wrapper, perhaps consider a bond fund inside a S&S ISA. There are some bond funds that are paying over 7%.
