I've had two loans with new comments today - this one is the more serious of the two:
"The borrower’s direct debit has bounced twice, and consequently May’s payment was not collected on time. We are currently chasing the borrower to make a manual repayment, and will add another comment within the next two weeks if the situation changes. We thank investors for their patience."
And this is from the original application: "Mr X is an experienced property investor. He has a regular rental income producing circa £300,000 per annum. His property portfolio is worth in the region of £3.7m"
Here's hoping he's just poorly organised and all his mountains of rental income are just in his other (onshore!) bank account.
I should pay more attention to loans where DD fails - there's probably a decent window of time to shift them before FC puts the mockers on.
Good luck to all involved as always!
